About us
I (Thies Baarsma), the founder of OFF to ON, started repairing iPhones & MacBooks in 2017 and quickly specialized in logic board repairs.
Over the years, iPhone parts have become increasingly expensive and iPhones more difficult to repair. This is partly due to the fragility of the OLED screen and the “sandwich logic board.” That’s why I have fully specialized in data recovery and still do a few MacBook repairs.
Common problems
The most common motherboard issues are: connection failures, short circuits, (sea)water damage, and even damage caused by other repair shops. Fortunately, these problems can almost always be fixed.
On the internet, you can find a lot of iPhone data recovery software, but unfortunately, there are no shortcuts for iPhone data recovery. The device must actually power on and be unlocked with the passcode. Only then can an iTunes backup be made. This is because Apple has secured the iPhone very well. We cannot simply solder the memory chip onto another iPhone motherboard.

Fill in the mail-in form and provide as many details as possible. Within 24 hours you will receive a response from us with advice and, if applicable, approval with shipping instructions.

Your device at OFF to ON
As soon as your device has arrived, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. Your device is now ready for the recovery process. This usually takes about 2 to 3 weeks. Once your device is ready, or if there are any issues, you will hear from us again.

The recovery & The return
"Once we have fixed the faults in the motherboard, your Device will be ready for data recovery. For this, we need (your passcode. The recovered data will be placed on a USB stick. As soon as the invoice is paid, you will receive your device and the USB stick with your data back home."
